Di Donna Galleries is pleased to present a focused presentation of artworks by twentieth-century Modern masters at TEFAF 2024. Highlights on view include sculptures, paintings, and works on paper by Salvador Dalí, Yves Klein, André Masson, Joan Míro, and Yves Tanguy – artists who pushed boundaries of artistic production and embraced experimentation. The installation also features important works by Paul Klee and Alexander Calder, curated in conjunction with Enchanted Reverie: Klee and Calder now on view at Di Donna Galleries (a short two block walk from the Armory).
Organized in close collaboration with the Calder Foundation, Enchanted Reverie: Klee and Calder is comprised of over forty artworks from prominent public and private collections – presenting Paul Klee and Alexander Calder in dialogue by illuminating their shared metaphysical understanding of the natural world and the cosmos. Highlights include loans from distinguished private collections and international institutions including the Fondation Beyeler, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Art Institute of Chicago, as well as an impressive selection of works from the Calder Foundation.
