Excerpt:

Blain|Di Donna, the secondary market gallery established by Harry Blain and ex-Sotheby’s Emmanuel Di Donna, is opening in New York in the swanky Upper East Side surroundings of the Carlyle Hotel. The 2,500 sq ft space on the first floor (second floor in US terms) will open in October: it is sited just above the Nahmad gallery, run by the powerful clan of art traders.

Meanwhile Blain and his partner Graham Southern, who run Blain|Southern in London, are further extending their reach, having just opened a gallery in Berlin with a show by Tim Noble and Sue Webster.
